Anyway... Hi. I am Angi.

I talk to myself. I like ice cream and have an ice cream maker and make ice cream lots of ice cream. I'm not a dog person. I have a ferret, and her name is Frankie the Girl Ferret.

I like to knit and crochet and sew and bead and do metal work and use power tools. I make up weird names for people. I have my motorcycle licence, and got my first motorcycle in April, '04.

I put about 17,000+ miles on before selling it and buying a shiny '98 Hnnda Shadow ACE Deluxe 750.

I love VW's. They should make a convertable jetta. I would love to own a 1969 orange convertable bug. I am the oldest of three siblings, and can be a little bossy at times. I am a Daddy's girl. As a Taurus I am an annoying optimist, and an occasional pessimist . My lucky numbers are 2 and 4. I miss my sisters back in UT! I like to watch movies just to find editing mistakes and inconsistancies. I hate beans and anything with a bean texture. I have a sweet tooth, but hate chocolate. I am addicted to sun.

I love fruit. I hate being cold!I love raspberries and anything with a raspberry flavor. I like to eat popcorn and watch lightening storms and dance in the rain.

    I am so good, G-O-O-D

I have been taking more pictures of what I am working on. I am still a little overwhelmed by all the projects I have lined up, but I guess that's what happens when you are a knitter. First off, I found this little package at my door Wednesday:

    Ellen box

And can you guess what is inside?!? This:

    schoeller mag

    and this:

    cabled zipper pull

I can't wait to get started on this! Elenn did forget to send me the chart along with the pattern, but they were so nice and quick to email it to me instead of snail-mailing it. Since it's on email I can print off a bunch and mark 'em up with notes as much as I want to!

On the sweater front, I have made some progress on the 2nd baby sweater:

    Baby blue

I am kicking myself for not taking pictures of the first pink sweater. I had actually moved onto my second skein of blue, but had a huge delima; they were diffrent dye lots. On the pink sweater, I didn't even bother checking dye lots and all the yarn was the same color. On this one, they are very different shades of blue. I don't know what to do now. Do I just start the top half in a different color? Do I start over? I will have to ponder this more. I was thinking of putting in a white stripe and then the different blue, but I don't want that type of design element in the sweater. I have also been thinking about pockets, but that wouldn't hide the color change in the back. Again, something to think on more.

And as for my sock kick, I have finished one for myself. My first pair of socks for me!

    Red, wite & cool

However, as I get closer to finishing up this pair, I have been considering giving them to my grandma instead. Her birthday is in July and these would be perfect. Well, guess it's back to no socks for me.

I also did a bad thing last night. I was blog hopping earlier this week and came across a pattern for a multi-directional scarf. "Oh," thinks I, "that looks fun and somewhat challenging. I must try it." So I did. I cast on for a multi-directional scarf with some verigated Red Heart Luster Sheen finger weight yarn. It's varigated with Bob Marley/Mardi Gras colors. Purple, Green, Yellow, and Red.

I am starting to dig it!
